With its distinctive appearance and reputation as a challenging catch, Huchen has become a popular target for anglers from around the world.<\/span><\/p><p>The Huchen is a species of salmonid fish that can grow up to two meters in length and weigh up to 60 kg. It has a slender body with a dark green, almost black back and silver sides. As a result, many conservation efforts have been put in place to protect the species and its habitats.\u00a0In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Huchen fishing is strictly regulated, and a permit is required to fish for this species. The fishing season typically runs from October to March, with the peak season occurring in December and January.<\/p><p>There are several rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina where Huchen can be found, including the Una, Sana, Vrbas and Drina rivers.
