One of the very special attraction of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a 180-kilometers paved track, between Dubrovnik on the Croatian coast and the old town of Mostar in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the route of the old Austro-Hungarian railway line. Closed in the 1970s after the abolition of the narrow-gauge railway, its proud station buildings stood empty until now.
Skiing
Bosnia and Herzegovina offers family-friendly skiing experience suitable for beginners, children and experienced skiers. Most of the ski resorts are close to towns like Travnik, Sarajevo so after skiing you could take a walk around town and enjoy winter atmosphere.
